AFASU Golden Awards news: His Excellency Mr. Alain St. Ange Wins Man of the Year 2023/24

Former Minister of Tourism of Seychelles, Alain St. Ange has been honored with the 2023/2024 Man of the Year AFASU Golden Award, for his overall work and activity in the tourism, travel and aviation sector. St. Ange received the AFASU Golden Award on Monday 16 October 2023, in the presence of dozens of tourism, travel and aviation experts and the international, Arab and local media.
His Excellency received the AFASU Golden Award shield and certificate from the President of the African Asian Union (AFASU), Dr. Hossam Darwish, the advisor, Dr. Adel Al-Muslmani, the CEO of the UNION and Major General Hossam Badr El-Din, the Secretary-General of the AFASU Union and a large number of gentlemen and ladies members of the union.
His Excellency the Governor of South Sinai, Major General Khaled Fouda, participated in handing over the shield, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Tourism, Professor Ghada Shalabi, in the presence of a group of academics and experts.
The African Asian Union (AFASU) had earlier received St. Ange in the Arab Republic of Egypt, in preparation for the international conference organized by Sadat University, sponsored by the Union, under the title Sustainable Scientific Research and Digital Transformation, A Future Vision for Tourism and Hospitality and Archaeology, which is held in the distinguished tourist city of Dahab.
Alain St. Ange is a highly respected and much-sought international speaker. He is a member of the AFASU Executive Council, and Vice President of the Supreme Authority for the AFASU Golden Awards.
It is known that the Man of the Year Award is the highest level of the African Asian Union Golden Awards group. Important standards and requirements have been set and the international jury for the AFASU Golden Awards is made up of more than thirty judges who are the world’s most distinguished experts in all specialties.
The African-Asian Union AFASU organized a trip to tourist sites in the Arab Republic of Egypt for Mr. Alain St Ange, in which he visited the three pyramids and the Sphinx and had lunch in the most luxurious restaurant directly overlooking the pyramids. He then visited the area of ancient Egypt’s Coptic, Christian and Islamic monuments, then visited the Cairo Museum and the bazaar area and the old market in ancient Egypt. Mr. Alain Ange made a video statement in which he said that he feels very happy to be in Egypt and feels completely safe while touring Cairo, and that he invites tourists to visit Egypt because it is a country of security and safety.
His Excellency the Governor of South Sinai, Major General Khaled Fouda, also celebrated Mr. Alain and organized several visits for him to inspect the landmarks of the city of Sharm El-Sheikh and met with the delegation from the African-Asian Union AFASU consisting of Dr. Hossam Darwish, President of the AFASU Union, Mr. Alain Ange, Member of the Union’s Executive Council, and Ms. Nihad Farouk, Advisor to the Union. For entrepreneurship, His Excellency the Governor of South Sinai, at an official dinner in honor of Mr. Alain Ange, and on the second day at an official lunch invited by Mr. Hossam Al-Shaer, the well-known Egyptian businessman and owner of a large hotel group in Egypt and the world.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Union delegation held an official meeting at the invitation of Major General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai. The meeting was attended by Professor Ghada Shalabi, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Egypt, Dr. Engineer Enas Samir, Deputy Governor of South Sinai, and Dr. Islam Muhammad, Head of the Office of the Tourism Promotion Authority in South Sinai, where everyone discussed.
